Centro Conocimiento Infantil

What is CCI

The Childhood Knowledge Centre (CCI in Spanish) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to help the better development of children via the knowledge of their needs, at different stages and circumstances of their growth.

To do so, this organization strives to gather all the available knowledge related to children and make it available to those who are responsible with respect to childhood.

In addition, Childhood Knowledge Centre promotes and helps in developing surveys and projects targeted to deepening knowledge of specific problems of interest related to childhood in general or for certain groups of children, in the analysis and suggestion of solutions for the material studied, as well as the implementation and follow-up of said suggestions.

Our objective is to gain and promote knowledge about childhood, both nationally and internationally, so that we can improve the information available to professionals and organizations when it comes to design products and services suitable for children.

The ultimate aim is to contribute to the perception of Spain as a reference country regarding childhood, by developing and divulging specific knowledge on any matters relating to childhood.

The Childhood Knowledge Centre (CCI in Spanish) is an initiative of the ASEPRI (Spanish Association for Childhood Products) and the AIJU (Research Association of Toy Industry and Allied Workers).

This centre is co-financed by ERDF and is supported by the Spanish Government via the General Directorate for Industry and the General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, and the Valencian Regional Government through the Regional Department of Industry, Trade and Innovation – IMPIVA (Valencia Small and Medium-Sized Industry Institute).
